What hardware does Anea scanner consist of?
Sensor Tower
The sensor tower is made of a body made of ABS, has a high-resolution 3D camera that is used to photograph the body in the form of three. The sensor tower weighs approximately 5 kg and is 120 cm high. The sensor used in the tower is Microsoft Kinect v2.0, which provides an accuracy of 5 mm for our measurements. At the top of the tower is a colored headlight ring that notifies you of various system states.

Scan Platform
The scanning platform rotates the body as it collects information so that the sensor can see the body from all angles. The scanning platform communicates with the tower and the computer via wireless connection (WIFI). The platform weighs approximately 17 kg and is 12 cm high. It has 6 Load Cell bases installed under the platform and provides an accuracy of 25 grams for weighing. The rotation speed of the platform is 1 rpm in 45 seconds

How is 3D scanning performed?
It only takes 45 seconds to stand on the 3D scanner platform of Anea’s body to take about 700 depth images from all directions of the body, the aggregation of these images forms a 360-degree 3D model of the body.
This three-dimensional model will then be analyzed using image processing algorithms, anthropometric science (body measurement) as well as mathematical methods, and the body condition report will be visible.
